Senior Backend AI Developer in Brazil (Hybrid)
Advance CI&T’s multi-cloud AI platform through backend development, LLM integrations, and distributed systems architecture.
Descriere
- Build and improve core AI Platform components, including model governance, providers, tenants, and usage policies.
- Design and refine routing, load balancing, fallback, and LLM usage and cost controls.
- Integrate LiteLLM and model providers across public cloud environments.
- Improve APIs, services, and observability to support platform performance, availability, scalability, and reliability.
- Investigate incidents and complex production problems, find root causes, and recommend lasting improvements.
- Contribute to architecture decisions by assessing trade-offs, technical risks, and effects on products using the platform.
- Guide the team on engineering standards and good practices, and support colleagues’ professional growth.
- Work with teams using the platform to refine solutions and resolve integration issues.
Cerințe
- Strong backend development experience with Kotlin or Java and/or Node.js.
- Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and highly available services.
- Experience with public cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of LLMs and generative AI application architectures.
- Experience integrating models through at least one major cloud LLM provider, such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, or GCP Vertex AI.
- Knowledge of LLM operations, including routing, fallback, streaming, and usage management.
- Experience observing and troubleshooting distributed systems with metrics, logs, and traces.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of RAG, AI Agents, and Agentic AI concepts.
- Experience making technical and architectural decisions and acting as a technical reference in complex environments.
- Hands-on experience with LiteLLM and AI Gateway, LLM Gateway, or Model Gateway architectures.
- Experience operating multiple LLM providers in production.
- Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of LLM observability tools such as Langfuse, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Knowledge of vector databases, semantic search, and RAG architectures.
- Experience with guardrails, security, and access control for AI applications.
- Experience with Helm, GitOps, or building tools and agents for AI coding.
