Senior AWS Platform Engineer (Remote, United States)

Lead AWS platform engineering at Ledgebrook by managing Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD infrastructure. Build secure self-service capabilities that strengthen delivery reliability and developer productivity.

Descriere

  • Design, secure, operate, and optimize highly available, cost-efficient AWS infrastructure
  • Administer AWS networking components, including VPCs, subnets, and route tables
  • Operate, monitor, optimize, and scale AWS-hosted Kubernetes clusters
  • Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with ArgoCD and GitHub Actions
  • Develop modular Helm charts and platform templates that enable developer self-service
  • Configure and operate Istio service mesh capabilities for encrypted traffic, secure communication, and advanced routing
  • Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform across staging and production environments
  • Find infrastructure and workflow bottlenecks and improve deployment automation
  • Partner with engineering teams to advance reliability, scalability, and developer velocity

Cerințe

  • At least five years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering
  • Strong practical expertise with AWS, including VPCs, subnets, and routing
  • Experience administering, scaling, and monitoring production Kubernetes or containerized environments
  • Advanced experience creating deployment pipelines with ArgoCD and GitHub Actions
  • Practical experience developing and modularizing Helm charts
  • Proficiency managing complex infrastructure environments with Terraform
  • Experience using Istio for traffic routing, security policies, and observability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Azure or Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus
  • Experience creating OPA Gatekeeper policies is a plus
  • PostgreSQL experience is a plus
  • Python or Bash scripting experience is a plus
  • Atlantis experience is a plus
  • Spacelift experience is a plus
  • Candidates based in the United States or Canada must already be authorized to work in their country without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
