Rotating Equipment Reliability Engineer
Join MODEC, a global builder, charterer, and operator of offshore platforms, as a rotating equipment reliability engineer. Plan maintenance, monitor assets, and provide technical support for FPSOs.
Descriere
- Oversee maintenance and reliability work for rotating equipment, including compressors and pumps.
- Plan and carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Track asset condition and implement the condition-based maintenance strategy with online tools such as PI, System 1, and Light House, and offline methods including vibration and oil analysis.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives that strengthen the reliability of MODEC assets.
- Perform reliability studies, update maintenance plans, improve spare parts and special tools management, and create or revise guides, procedures, and standards.
- Prepare annual maintenance budgets and track preventive and corrective maintenance spending.
- Set up short-term contracts with suppliers and service providers for onshore or offshore maintenance.
- Prepare or review requests for quotation for rotating equipment maintenance contracts.
- Support MODEC FPSO Operations and Pre-Operations teams in Brazil with onshore and offshore technical expertise.
- Diagnose machinery issues, recommend technical solutions, and develop action plans.
- Take part in failure investigations using Root Cause Analysis and Management of Change processes.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
- Active CREA registration required.
- Intermediate English required; fluency is an advantage.
- Advanced Portuguese required.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required.
- Basic CMMS knowledge, preferably SAP, is an advantage.
- Basic Python knowledge is an advantage.
- Basic Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
- Basic PI System knowledge is an advantage.
- A postgraduate qualification related to the area of expertise is an advantage.
- An MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
