Descriere

  • Assess customer needs for software components, availability, security, and performance.
  • Design and document cloud hosting systems, covering capacity, instance selection and allocation, and network architecture.
  • Estimate costs for proposed system designs.
  • Install, configure, and test cloud resources to build systems.
  • Apply automation and configuration management to make changes repeatable and traceable.
  • Diagnose issues across hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.
  • Safeguard system integrity and security with controls and monitoring tools.
  • Write assessments and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze systems, tune performance, and plan for future growth.
  • Create and run load and stress tests, record results, and investigate infrastructure issues.
  • Document application problems and escalate them to the development team.
  • Keep internal systems and customer deployment documentation up to date.
  • Work with project managers, technical consultants, software architects, and developers to validate infrastructure deliverables and record technical hand-offs.
  • Handle support tickets and incidents in line with service-level commitments.
  • Set operational best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop, document, and test disaster recovery procedures.
  • Keep skills current through learning, professional publications, networks, and organizations.

Cerințe

  • Must reside in Brazil.
  • Submit an English-language resume in PDF format.
  • Must already have authorization to work in Brazil; visa sponsorship is not available.

  • Believe in the company’s mission to help people.
  • Have advanced to fluent English communication skills.
  • Bring at least four years of Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience.
  • Experience with additional cloud providers is a plus.
  • Have systems administration experience with Linux and/or Windows; experience with at least one is required.
  • Have scripting skills; Bash and Python are preferred, while PowerShell is accepted.
  • Know TCP/IP networking and HTTP protocols.
  • Have experience with web accelerators, load balancers, reverse proxies, and CDNs.
  • Bring problem-solving skills and readiness to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Be customer-oriented and communicate well.
  • Be willing to join a 24/7 on-call rotation.
  • AWS certifications, or willingness to obtain them, are a plus.
  • Interest in generative AI technologies is a plus.
