Descriere

  • Direct ELLE Decor’s market coverage.
  • Find standout brands, products, designers, and emerging trends across home design categories.
  • Create platform-aware storytelling about products, trends, designers, and the design business.
  • Shape ELLE Decor’s voice on social media.
  • Develop and appear in market and styling videos.
  • Manage market content from concept to publication, including captions, display copy, columns, trend stories, and product roundups.
  • Use SEO insights to develop engaging stories and social-first ideas.
  • Guide the Market Assistant’s product call-ins and image coordination.
  • Work with the visuals team on photo shoots and provide styling as needed.
  • Build relationships with designers, brands, publicists, and other industry contacts.
  • Attend trade shows and market appointments.
  • Partner with Ad Sales and advertisers to create compelling market content.
  • Ensure products and partners receive accurate representation and credit.
  • Apply a strong visual perspective to product, image, styling, and storytelling choices across platforms.

Cerințe

  • Bring at least eight years of experience at a national consumer magazine, media brand, or similarly editorial organization, or equivalent experience.
  • Have deep expertise in home design and shelter coverage.
  • Show genuine enthusiasm for interiors.
  • Bring an exceptional eye and well-developed taste.
  • Understand what feels fresh, relevant, and right for ELLE Decor.
  • Have strong connections across the design industry, including brands, designers, publicists, and other key contacts.
  • Demonstrate excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Turn subject-matter expertise into compelling editorial across platforms.
  • Have experience creating or participating in engaging social and video content.
  • Ideally, be comfortable and engaging on camera.
  • Have experience with and enthusiasm for styling photo and video shoots; preferred.
  • Use strong visual judgment and understand what resonates with ELLE Decor’s audience.
  • Bring curiosity, energy, confidence, and an ability to spot stories and products early.
  • Be based in New York City and work in the office four days per week.
