Head of Accounting at Yunicorn Ventures (Remote)

Lead the creation of Yunicorn Ventures’ accounting function, including reporting, systems, compliance, and team development. Partner with management and support an international portfolio spanning Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

Descriere

  • Establish Yunicorn Ventures’ accounting department, covering core structures, processes, systems, and tools
  • Create scalable accounting and reporting frameworks for the company’s growing international ecosystem
  • Choose and deploy accounting technology, automation, integrations, and related infrastructure
  • Build, manage, and develop your own team with both professional and disciplinary responsibility
  • Provide financial and accounting guidance to partners and management
  • Oversee compliance, accurate period-end closes, and dependable reporting across multiple portfolio companies
  • Bring an entrepreneurial, ecosystem-wide perspective to the role

Cerințe

  • Bring several years of accounting experience, ideally with a background in building functions or managing teams
  • Experience in venture capital, incubation, or startups is advantageous, especially managing the needs of multiple portfolio companies at once
  • Understand modern accounting systems and their practical application
  • Be ready to digitize and improve processes, not merely administer them
  • Apply sound judgment to solutions that balance compliance with practicality
  • Combine a hands-on approach with strategic thinking at partner level
  • Commit fully to the role and maintain focused ownership
