Descriere

  • Lead a portfolio of technology projects and guide developers building compliant distributed microservices and full-stack systems
  • Track technology trends, test emerging tools, engage with engineering communities, and mentor fellow engineers
  • Work with digital product managers to deliver dependable cloud solutions that support millions of Americans’ financial empowerment
  • Develop with Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, relational and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
  • Set technical direction across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with architects on service boundaries, integration approaches, and reusable frameworks
  • Find opportunities for refactoring, technical debt reduction, and performance improvement
  • Help shape long-term technology strategy by assessing emerging tools and practices within a you-build-it-you-own-it culture

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field, such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering
  • At least four years of software engineering experience, excluding internships
  • At least two years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
  • The employer does not provide sponsorship or immigration-related employment authorization support
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Preferred: Seven or more years of coding experience with at least two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala
  • Preferred: Three or more years of experience with databases and database management systems
  • Preferred: Three or more years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, cloud productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
  • Preferred: Four or more years of contributing to open-source frameworks
  • Preferred: Three or more years of experience with front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks
  • Preferred: Four or more years of designing synchronous and asynchronous APIs
  • Preferred: Three or more years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks
  • Preferred: Three or more years of using Git-based version-control systems
  • Preferred: Three or more years of troubleshooting technical issues in cloud environments
  • Experience using modern AI-assisted coding tools and IDE copilots
  • Preferred: At least one year of mentoring engineers and supporting professional development within technical teams
  • Preferred: At least one year of using observability to find and optimize performance bottlenecks in distributed systems
  • Experience with interactive AI tools beyond basic code completion
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering work or large-scale technical initiatives
  • Experience defining and enforcing coding standards and design patterns across teams
