Data Engineer, Core Banking Data Transformation

Build and maintain data transformations, pipelines, and layered data solutions for core banking, finance, reporting, and analytics. The role supports Luminor’s banking data landscape through analysis, quality management, testing, deployment, and production support.

Descriere

  • Build dependable data pipelines and transformation processes for banking, finance, reporting, and analytics.
  • Trace data across core banking and source systems, transformation stages, and downstream users.
  • Convert business needs into data mappings, transformation rules, reconciliation logic, and technical implementations.
  • Create and support data solutions across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent data across the platform.
  • Resolve complex data problems spanning source systems, transformations, warehouses, and reporting environments.
  • Manage engineering changes from initial analysis through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Work with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and engineers to deliver scalable, maintainable data solutions.

Cerințe

  • Advanced SQL and Python capabilities.
  • Practical knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL or ELT processes.
  • Working knowledge of banking and core banking data, including accounts, transactions, balances, general ledger or accounting data, and reporting.
  • Practical experience developing data transformations.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Experience using Git and applying CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices.
  • Strong ability to analyze systems and data.
  • Oracle or Oracle FLEXCUBE experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with Databricks or Spark, Bronze/Silver/Gold architectures, and BI or reporting environments is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ownership, analytical reasoning, functional curiosity, and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into practical, production-ready solutions.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is required.
  • Applicants should primarily already be located in the Baltics.
