Contracts Analyst — Edelman, Los Angeles (Hybrid)

Review and support negotiations for NDAs, statements of work, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts at Edelman. Partner with Finance, Legal, and business teams to manage contracting workflows and resolve commercial issues.

Descriere

  • Prepare, review, revise, and assist with negotiating NDAs, statements of work, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts.
  • Evaluate financial and commercial provisions in client and vendor agreements, flag potential concerns, and collaborate with stakeholders on resolutions.
  • Assess NDA and statement-of-work terms against Edelman’s standards and guidelines.
  • Escalate terms that require additional scrutiny and coordinate reviews with Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders.
  • Assist with reviewing Master Services Agreements and other commercial contract types.
  • Work with internal teams to understand business goals and move agreements through the contracting process.
  • Keep contract records accurate and help agreements progress efficiently through review and approval.
  • Build expertise in Edelman’s contracting standards, policies, and risk considerations.
  • Contribute actively to the contracts team and collaborate with colleagues across the organization.
  • Expand contract-review experience while taking on progressively more complex commercial contracting work.

Cerințe

  • 1–3 years of experience drafting, reviewing, or administering commercial contracts, such as NDAs, statements of work, vendor agreements, or similar business agreements.
  • Experience with Master Services Agreements and other commercial contracts is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in public relations, marketing, advertising, or related professional services is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A J.D. is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple agreements and competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Collaborative, service-oriented approach to working with internal stakeholders.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in developing contract-review and negotiation skills.
  • Must be based in an Edelman office.
  • Must be able to work Pacific Time business hours regardless of office location.
