Civil Engineer, Managing Consultant – ERM, New Delhi Onsite

Lead civil remediation engineering projects for ERM in an onsite New Delhi role. Oversee design, construction support, technical quality, mentoring, and collaboration with global delivery teams.

Descriere

  • Lead calculations, drawings, specifications, estimates, and technical reports for complex remediation projects
  • Direct technical activities across design, construction, startup, and operations while meeting quality, safety, budget, and schedule goals
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development and project delivery
  • Collaborate with global teams, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Improve engineering standards, design quality, and consulting delivery efficiency
  • Lead civil remediation design, including data evaluation, calculations, development, estimating, specifications, and contract documentation
  • Provide technical oversight through construction, commissioning, startup, and operations
  • Review and approve junior engineers’ work and provide mentoring and quality assurance
  • Lead modeling and design for stormwater, soil stabilization, hydraulic, vapor treatment, groundwater treatment, and related environmental infrastructure
  • Plan and direct field investigations, pilot testing, system evaluations, performance testing, and construction oversight
  • Coordinate with project managers on planning, budgets, schedules, and risk management
  • Work directly with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and regulators to resolve technical issues and sustain progress
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, engineering standards, and ERM quality requirements
  • Advance engineering best practices, standardization, and continuous improvement across the global engineering organization
  • Support proposals, scope development, technical sales, and business development as needed

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or geotechnical engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • 4–10 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering, remediation design, environmental consulting, construction support, or related engineering fields
  • Experience leading engineering workstreams and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
  • Strong understanding of remediation technologies, environmental compliance, permitting, and engineering design principles
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software
  • Experience producing and reviewing drawings, technical specifications, construction documents, and technical reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound technical judgment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including direct interaction with clients, contractors, and regulators
  • Strong safety focus and experience applying health and safety requirements in field and construction settings
  • Preferred: Engineer-in-Training certification or progress toward Professional Engineer licensure
  • Preferred: Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe
  • Preferred: Experience leading field programs, pilot studies, remediation system startups, and construction oversight
  • Preferred: Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and environmental data management platforms
  • Preferred: Experience with global, multi-office, or shared-service delivery models
  • Preferred: Experience using automation, AI-enabled tools, or advanced analytical methods in engineering workflows
