Business Development Specialist, Tax Marketing (Hybrid)
Business development specialist supporting tax marketing and proposal activity at Mayer Brown, an international law firm. Responsibilities include events, content, competitive intelligence, practice data, and U.S. transactions pipeline tracking.
Descriere
- Prepare written proposal and presentation materials for RFPs, pitches, and other business opportunities
- Coordinate with client teams and industry groups as needed
- Support direct marketing and business development initiatives, including podcasts, video recordings, seminars, sponsorships, and other events
- Develop social media campaigns and measure return on investment and engagement
- Create and maintain practice group marketing materials, including descriptions, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, website and blog content, social posts, and biographies
- Maintain league table and industry survey materials and prepare ranking submissions
- Perform research, analysis, and competitive intelligence to support strategic planning and business development
- Research and identify speaking opportunities
- Gather global transactions practice matter data and maintain the matter database
- Monitor U.S. transactions practice pipeline activity
- Review lawyer profiles and practice descriptions and advise lawyers on updates
- Provide additional support and complete other assigned duties
Cerințe
- Required bachelor's degree in marketing, business, research, communications, or a related field
- Required proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to quickly learn and use firm and external vendor databases
- At least four years of demonstrated success in marketing, research, management, communications, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate in a diverse team environment while supporting demanding firm needs
