Business Analyst – Banking Applications (Hybrid, Portugal)
Support the evolution of banking applications for a major European Union bank through requirements management, Agile sub-project leadership, stakeholder communication, testing, training, and user support.
Descriere
- Drive business analysis activities that support application evolution
- Translate business needs into detailed requirements and refined user stories for Agile delivery
- Coordinate Agile sub-projects, including planning, progress tracking, and team resource management
- Report project milestones and status to managers and stakeholders
- Evaluate risks and issues, assess their impact, and implement appropriate mitigation measures
- Serve as the main point of contact for users and key stakeholders
- Plan and conduct testing activities
- Create and deliver training while providing continued user support
- Develop practical solutions and contribute to a collaborative Agile team
- Organize priorities, meet deadlines, and work with colleagues and senior team members to strengthen technical and functional expertise
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, information technology, finance, accounting, or a related field
- Relevant professional experience as a business analyst is required
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting, and related processes is required
- Solid understanding of banking products is required
- Strong functional knowledge of data management, including practical experience with databases, query languages, and Business Intelligence tools, is required
- Familiarity with applying Artificial Intelligence in applications, particularly Large Language Models and Agentic frameworks, is advantageous
- Knowledge of Confluence and JIRA is advantageous
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies is advantageous
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Fluent English
- French language skills are advantageous
