AI SEO R&D Trainee Full-Stack Engineer (Go Backend, Mandarin)
As a full-stack Go engineering trainee, you’ll build AI-powered SEO and site-speed tools for Shopify merchants. You’ll develop SEO workflows, AI content features, and backend integrations with mentorship.
Descriere
- Build AI SEO features for site audits, page checks, keyword analysis, content optimization, suggestions, and reporting.
- Turn requirements into technical tasks, then implement, integrate, test, and release the work.
- Contribute to frontend and backend API integration, data processing, business logic, and UI improvements.
- Take responsibility for the quality of released features.
- Process data on pages, keywords, meta tags, site structure, and indexing.
- Create SEO validation rules, scoring logic, optimization suggestions, and report metrics.
- Investigate production bugs, data issues, and problems reported by customers.
- Build AI generation features for titles, meta descriptions, content ideas, and keyword suggestions.
- Improve AI output quality, generation speed, user experience, and error handling.
- Develop prompts, rules, templates, and methods for evaluating generated output.
- Work with product, design, QA, operations, and customer success teams.
- Follow coding standards, take part in code reviews, and contribute documentation and tests.
- Report progress, risks, and blockers, and participate in post-launch retrospectives.
- Grow from completing mentored features and bug fixes to independently owning a product module within 12 months.
Cerințe
- Proficiency in Go (Golang) is required.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or PHP is an advantage.
- A bachelor's or master's degree from a US university; recent graduates or those graduating within the last 1–2 years are sought.
- A solid grasp of web development fundamentals, including HTTP, APIs, databases, and frontend-backend interaction.
- Strong coding and debugging skills.
- Able to learn quickly, read documentation, investigate problems, and develop through hands-on project work.
- Reliable and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep the team informed about progress and issues.
- Professional working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Software development or SaaS internship experience is preferred.
- Experience building web apps, SaaS products, SEO tools, AI applications, online stores, or Shopify apps is a plus.
- Familiarity with PHP, React, Node.js, Next.js, NestJS, Python, PostgreSQL, or Redis is a plus.
- Basic SEO knowledge is a plus.
- AI project experience, such as LLM applications, prompting, RAG, content generation, or automated analysis, is a plus.
- Experience with data collection, data cleaning, reporting, or web crawlers is a plus.
