Apraksts

  • Manage vSphere 8 clusters, vCenter, ESXi hosts, and vSAN storage.
  • Optimize VM sizing, retire inactive machines, and migrate workloads as hosts are consolidated.
  • Create and maintain VM templates and automation using Terraform, Packer, and Ansible in GitLab CI.
  • Patch hosts and VMs and maintain STIG compliance.
  • Handle tickets, resolve performance and capacity issues, and assist with test-event setup.
  • Support consolidation of more than 2,000 virtual machines across two disconnected DoD enclaves.
  • Provision environments from code while keeping program test events running.

Prasības

  • At least three years administering VMware vSphere in an enterprise environment.
  • Practical scripting or automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, PowerCLI, or PowerShell.
  • Linux and Windows server administration experience.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the investigation designated by the DHA for privileged access.
  • DoD 8140 qualification for a privileged infrastructure role, or ability to earn it within six months.
  • Active Secret clearance or higher is preferred.
  • VCP-DCV certification is preferred.
  • Experience in air-gapped or classified environments is preferred.
  • Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation or NSX is preferred.
