  • Lead developers across technology projects to build solutions that meet regulatory needs
  • Explore emerging technologies, take part in technology communities, and mentor engineers
  • Work with digital product managers to deliver cloud solutions that support customers’ financial well-being
  • Apply IBM z/OS, Scheduler, DB2, COBOL, and JCL expertise to maintain existing systems and move them toward cloud technologies
  • Build with Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, relational and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
  • Guide Agile teams and establish practices for design, development, and reliable operations
  • Work with architects on service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks
  • Refactor systems to address technical debt, improve performance, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Shape long-term technology strategy by assessing new tools and practices in a you-build-it-you-own-it environment

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative discipline, such as statistics, economics, operations research, analytics, mathematics, or engineering
  • At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not count
  • At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
  • The employer does not provide employment authorization sponsorship or immigration-related support for new applicants
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Preferred: 7 or more years coding in at least three of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, and Scala
  • Preferred: 3 or more years working with databases and database management systems
  • Preferred: 3 or more years working with AWS, GCP, Azure, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
  • Preferred: 4 or more years contributing to open-source frameworks
  • Preferred: 3 or more years using front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks
  • Preferred: 4 or more years building synchronous and asynchronous APIs
  • Preferred: 3 or more years working with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks
  • Preferred: 3 or more years using Git-based version control
  • Preferred: 3 or more years troubleshooting technical issues in cloud environments
  • Preferred: Experience with AI coding tools and IDE copilots
  • Preferred: 3 or more years managing IBM z/OS mainframe platforms, IBM Scheduler, and DB2 relational databases
  • Preferred: 3 or more years engineering and supporting legacy enterprise software with JCL and COBOL
  • Preferred: At least 1 year mentoring engineers and supporting professional development on technical teams
  • Preferred: At least 1 year using observability to find and optimize performance bottlenecks in distributed systems
  • Preferred: Experience with interactive AI tools beyond basic code completion
  • Preferred: Experience leading cross-functional engineering work or large-scale technical initiatives
  • Preferred: Experience setting and applying coding standards and design patterns across teams
