Senior Enterprise Architect, VMware and Kubernetes

Apraksts

  • Create and maintain enterprise architecture designs, technical records, and modernization proposals.
  • Advise on VMware ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, virtual desktop infrastructure, Red Hat OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
  • Assess infrastructure, networks, storage, applications, and integrations to strengthen performance, interoperability, and reliability.
  • Build cybersecurity requirements into architecture and assist with Risk Management Framework assessment and authorization.
  • Contribute to application modernization, digital transformation, and Model-Based Systems Engineering efforts using MagicDraw, DOORS, and Windchill.
  • Recommend architectures for high availability, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations.
  • Work with Government leaders and technical teams to clarify requirements, address architectural challenges, and manage technical risks.
  • Produce architecture diagrams, technical evaluations, design records, and recommendations for Government decision-makers.

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least eight years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems engineering, or IT infrastructure.
  • Substantial experience configuring and managing VMware and virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and enterprise container platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise networking, storage, infrastructure integration, and high-availability solutions.
  • Understanding of Department of Defense cybersecurity requirements, RMF, NIST security controls, and secure architecture practices.
  • Experience preparing technical architecture documentation and presenting recommendations to technical and Government stakeholders.
  • Ability to satisfy applicable DoD 8140 workforce qualification requirements.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
  • Relevant enterprise architecture, VMware, Red Hat, or cybersecurity certifications are preferred.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Army or DoD enterprise IT environments is preferred.
  • Experience with classified networks and mission-critical systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation, enterprise backup and recovery, and disaster recovery architecture is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MBSE tools such as MagicDraw, DOORS, and Windchill is preferred.
