Apraksts

  • Review clinical records and code surgery and hospital charges for insurance billing.
  • Support CPT and ICD-10 coding.
  • Coordinate with the team lead or supervisor.
  • Protect patient information under confidentiality policies.
  • Follow government and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete required training and in-services, including annual OSHA training and PPD placements.
  • Manage accounts receivable for the ambulatory surgery center.
  • Handle other duties as assigned.

Prasības

  • Knowledge of accounts receivable, denial management, and CPT/ICD-10 coding.
  • At least three years of related accounts receivable experience.
  • One year of experience with ambulatory surgery center claims is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three years of related accounts receivable or medical billing experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of computer information systems.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, spoken, diagrammed, or scheduled instructions.
  • Ability to protect patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to comply with government and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to complete required training and in-services, including annual OSHA training and PPD placements.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Primarily local travel during the business day, with possible out-of-area and overnight travel.
