Onsite Server Product Manager — Supermicro, Taiwan
Develop customized server products for Supermicro’s data center, cloud, and enterprise customers. Oversee product introductions, ODM customization, production support, and customer technical requirements.
Apraksts
- Provide Sales with technical support on server system business practices
- Develop localized or customized server products and guide them through mass production and ongoing support
- Manage new product introductions for standard server systems and ODM models
- Gather requirements for Supermicro server products
- Coordinate ODM product customization and resources to meet customer development schedules
- Lead cross-functional teams handling production issues, RMA, failure analysis, and engineering change orders
- Prepare documentation and technical guidance for server and OEM system production lines
- Deliver regular product promotion and training
Prasības
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering, computer science, or another engineering discipline
- At least 6 years of experience related to server technology
- Experience configuring server systems or managing OEM business for electronic appliances
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Experience working with other contract manufacturers is an advantage
- Ability to work independently with customers and collaborate with colleagues
- Ability to communicate technical and quality issues effectively with internal design teams and customers during development and production
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills
- Disciplined approach to resolving issues on schedule
- Experience with Bash scripting
- Familiarity with Linux
