Office Engineer - Transit Infrastructure (Seattle Onsite)

Support contract administration, document control, compliance, scheduling, payments, and project closeout for Accenture’s onsite transit infrastructure work. Coordinate construction records, technical reviews, contractor documentation, and client delivery.

Apraksts

  • Provide daily contract administration support to the Construction Manager and Resident Engineer
  • Review contract requirements, track budgets and costs, and produce project reports
  • Process and distribute construction submittals, RFIs, change requests, design submittals, shop drawings, product data, work plans, meeting minutes, and project correspondence
  • Verify project documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance while coordinating reviews, approvals, and comment resolution
  • Administer document and change control processes, project logs, and distribution lists
  • Maintain official project records in the project management information system (PMIS)
  • Track and report submittals, RFIs, change requests, and technical reviews while preparing dashboards, spreadsheets, meeting minutes, and action logs
  • Support contractor progress payments, invoices, quantity records, and related project documentation
  • Assist with change management, contract modifications, cost and schedule assessments, negotiations, change orders, and claims records
  • Coordinate with field inspectors and technical personnel to monitor construction against requirements, safety standards, permits, schedules, budgets, and codes
  • Administer project schedules by tracking milestones, look-ahead plans, interfaces, and schedule-related actions
  • Review drawings, specifications, and technical materials and support constructability and design reviews
  • Coordinate documentation and technical interfaces with utilities, agencies, permitting authorities, testing teams, commissioning personnel, and transit operations staff
  • Support compliance records for federally funded projects, including Buy America, Davis-Bacon, prevailing wage, and DBE requirements
  • Prepare status reports, technical memoranda, correspondence, presentations, estimates, and other materials for clients and leadership
  • Support pre-award and post-award contract administration, including document preparation, modifications, final inspections, acceptance records, and contractor coordination
  • Assist with project closeout, including punch lists, as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, training records, final submittals, turnover packages, and records archiving
  • Work onsite at client and partner locations, with assignments covering both day and night shifts

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, business administration, or a related discipline
  • At least three years of experience as a Project Engineer, Office Engineer, or similar construction administration professional on transit, transportation, or public infrastructure projects
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license or the ability to obtain one
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer registration is advantageous
  • Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, contract changes, pay applications, schedules, document control, and closeout records is advantageous
  • Familiarity with WSDOT and APWA Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction is advantageous
  • Experience supporting FTA-funded construction projects and knowledge of federal contract compliance requirements is advantageous
  • Experience with alternative delivery methods, especially GC/CM and design-build, is preferred
  • Experience with EV charging or transit electrification infrastructure is advantageous
  • Contractor-side experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or comparable professional is advantageous
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint; experience with Procore, e-Builder, Unifier, Primavera Contract Management, or a comparable PMIS is preferred
