Junior Accounting Associate – Remote in Turkey

Support U.S. accounting, tax, payroll, and financial reporting for Manay CPA’s diverse client base. This full-time remote role is based in Turkey and follows U.S. Eastern Time hours.

Apraksts

  • Coordinate onboarding activities for assigned client engagements
  • Help manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Prepare bookkeeping entries, monthly close work, financial reports, and related analyses
  • Assist with payroll responsibilities and assigned special projects
  • Prepare depreciation schedules, sales journals, and sales tax returns
  • Review and reconcile payroll records and employment tax filings
  • Contribute to routine and detailed audit activities
  • Support revenue forecasts and profit margin analysis
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and oversee accounts payable and receivable activity
  • Help prepare and file corporate and individual income tax returns, including annual 1099 forms
  • Investigate complex tax matters and help determine appropriate resolutions
  • Contribute to research assignments and the preparation of financial reports

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field
  • Suitable for entry-level candidates, ideally with up to two years of experience
  • Willingness to learn U.S. accounting systems
  • Strong written and verbal Business English communication skills; interviews are conducted in English
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Quantitative and analytical ability to support complex data analysis and reporting
  • Commitment to building a career in accounting and tax
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills across groups
  • Careful attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
  • Experience with accounting software systems is an advantage
  • Knowledge or experience with U.S. GAAP is an advantage
  • Dedicated home-office setup
  • Availability to work U.S. time-zone hours, including EST
  • Willingness to travel when required
