Assistant Technical Designer, New York City (Onsite)
Support Lucky Brand’s apparel fit, construction, and technical product packages. Partner with design, pre-production, vendors, and factories in New York.
Apraksts
- Partner with Design and Pre-Production under the direction of the Senior Technical Designer or Technical Design Lead to define fit and aesthetics
- Create complete Flex PLM product packages with measurements, construction specifications, and technical sketches
- Develop and uphold fit and construction standards that support brand consistency and product quality
- Analyze fit history and suggest alternative construction methods or component options as needed
- Prepare for and participate actively in fit sessions
- Address fit and construction issues and communicate resolutions to International Buying Offices and factories within development and production schedules
- Maintain daily communication and follow-up with International Buying Offices, vendors, and cross-functional partners
Prasības
- A college degree in a related discipline is required
- At least one year of technical design or comparable experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processes
- Strong visual judgment regarding proportion, balance, and aesthetic detail
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Confident, assertive participation in fit presentations
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines consistently
- Highly organized approach with careful attention to detail
- Ability to contribute effectively in a cross-functional team setting
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to seek input for the best resolution
- Proficiency with Flex PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel
