  • Help develop strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Contribute to business-area projects under the guidance of a senior employee or manager.
  • Work with colleagues to deliver and maintain applications that meet business needs.
  • Build business solutions with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React and API technologies such as Express or NestJS.
  • Partner with a senior engineer to develop solutions that follow requirements, standards, methods, and internal controls.
  • Identify dependencies between systems.
  • Assess application functionality, integration points, and the effects of proposed changes.
  • Offer solution options and recommendations.
  • Record design decisions, estimation assumptions, code modules, and performance measures.
  • Plan, perform, or take part in unit and system integration testing.
  • Work with colleagues to understand system flows, data use, and manual or automated processes, and to validate requirements.
  • Help maintain programming, design, performance, quality, and security standards in software development.
  • Take part in team activities and other assigned tasks.
  • Create, update, and improve system documentation.

Reikalavimai

  • This is a summer internship.
  • Familiarity with customer-focused solutions, support, or service.
  • Basic understanding of integration and migration strategies and technologies.
  • Basic understanding of application architecture, design options, and development standards.
  • Some familiarity with software or systems written in at least one programming language is desirable.
  • Familiarity with interpreting, modifying, and writing application system designs and program specifications.
  • Experience using and supporting integration and communications technologies that connect applications, databases, and technology platforms.
  • Good understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular or React and API technologies such as Express or NestJS.
  • Familiarity with code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
  • Conceptual understanding of APIs and API gateways.
  • Knowledge of application testing activities, tasks, tools, and techniques used to verify functional and quality requirements.
  • Must live within 50 miles of the Madison, Wisconsin office.
  • Sponsorship is not available unless the posting specifies otherwise.
