Senior Frontend Architect, React and Next.js
Lead a luxury fashion brand’s move from Angular to React and Next.js. Set frontend architecture and guide decisions on performance, testing, and engineering standards.
Aprašymas
- Lead the technical migration from Angular (Spartacus) to React and Next.js
- Decide on rendering approaches (SSR/SSG), performance, SEO, and state management
- Connect the frontend to backend APIs and recommend improvements to how they are used
- Maintain quality through testing, sound engineering practices, and Core Web Vitals monitoring
- Review code and mentor mid-level team members
- Work with design, backend, product, and business teams
- For the Architect role, define the architecture for the new frontend
- For the Architect role, plan the migration, including temporary coexistence of both versions if needed
- Set the team’s technical standards
Reikalavimai
- At least five years of experience with React and TypeScript
- Experience delivering Next.js projects in production using SSR/SSG
- Experience with web performance, technical SEO, and accessibility
- Experience with automated frontend testing and CI/CD
- Experience working with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
- Experience reviewing code and mentoring other developers
- Good English proficiency (B2/C1)
- For the Architect role, prior experience as a frontend architect or technical lead on large projects
- For the Architect role, experience leading a migration or modernization
- E-commerce experience, preferably in fashion or luxury, is valued
- Experience migrating between frameworks is valued
- Knowledge of Angular and Spartacus is valued
- Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud or headless commerce architectures is valued
