Senior Finance Controller – Webedia, Berlin (Hybrid)
Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, HR controlling, and Workday implementation for Webedia’s German film, gaming, and entertainment operations.

- Help implement and digitize Workday, the ERP and management reporting system, ahead of its planned January 2027 launch
- Partner with the Finance Director on process design, system setup, and testing
- Lead the budgeting process through the transition to the new system
- Build and independently consolidate bottom-up business budgets using Google Sheets models
- Produce reports and analyze actual results against budget
- Deliver ad hoc analysis to inform management decisions
- Maintain the internal staff report and safeguard its accuracy
- Advise executives and department heads on budgeting strategy
- Propose ways to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Reconcile accounts each month
- Track budget targets by cost center
- Handle intercompany recharges
- Act as the initial contact for accounting and controlling questions, connecting Finance with other teams
Reikalavimai
- A degree in finance, controlling, or accounting, or an equivalent qualification such as certified accountant
- Several years of relevant controlling experience, ideally including operational accounting
- Some exposure to HR controlling or staff metrics is an advantage
- Strong command of accounting under the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Advanced Google Sheets skills, including complex data models and nested formulas
- Interest in AI and smart process automation
- Depending on seniority, experience with variance analysis, forecasting, sub-budgets, and historical data analysis; or with driver-based financial planning, complex root-cause analysis, strategic management consulting, complex financial models, automated reports and dashboards, and integrating varied data sources
