Aprašymas

  • Lead civil cases as first-chair trial counsel through verdict
  • Manage complex litigation independently from intake to resolution
  • Build and carry out trial plans, including witness preparation and evidence presentation
  • Take depositions, direct discovery, and handle pretrial proceedings
  • Prepare and argue substantive motions, and represent clients in court
  • Assess liability, damages, and litigation risks to shape practical defense strategies
  • Work with clients and other attorneys toward favorable case outcomes
  • Travel across California for trials, court appearances, and proceedings

Reikalavimai

  • Hold active membership in the California State Bar
  • Have first-chair trial experience with a record of successful results
  • Bring 4 or more years of civil litigation experience; candidates with somewhat less experience may be considered
  • Demonstrate strong deposition, motion practice, case management, and courtroom advocacy skills
  • Have preferred experience in insurance defense, personal injury defense, or general liability litigation
  • Be able to manage cases independently and lead trial proceedings
  • Be willing to travel across California for court appearances and trials
  • Have experience with complex liability, personal injury defense, and insurance litigation
