Aprašymas

  • Build and improve performance-critical software in modern C++.
  • Profile CPU, memory and network resource use, then optimize performance.
  • Diagnose complex issues across software, operating systems and hardware.
  • Shape architecture and deliver clear, maintainable solutions.
  • Review code and share technical knowledge with the team.
  • Test and validate software on physical hardware in the lab.
  • Expand channel capacity, reduce resource use and keep performance predictable.
  • Assess how memory access, concurrency, network traffic and Linux scheduling affect latency.
  • Develop high-performance packet processing with DPDK and uncompressed video and audio transport with SMPTE ST 2110.
  • Work with precision timing, Linux tuning and hardware-accelerated media processing.
  • Partner with the Nimbra Edge dataplane and cloud development teams.

Reikalavimai

  • Bring at least 10 years of professional software development experience.
  • Have deep expertise in modern C++ and systems programming, including memory management, concurrency and performance profiling.
  • Have strong Linux experience, including troubleshooting operating system, scheduling or hardware issues.
  • Understand networking fundamentals and be comfortable analysing traffic and protocol behaviour at packet level.
  • Have developed performance-critical or real-time software with demanding latency, jitter or throughput needs.
  • Take ownership of technical challenges and make well-reasoned design decisions.
  • Experience with video streaming protocols and media transport is especially valuable.
  • Relevant experience may include DPDK or XDP, precision time synchronization, NICs and drivers, or hardware-accelerated media processing.
  • Bring a background in media technology, telecom, networking or another area with demanding systems and performance needs.
  • Broadcast experience is welcome but not required.
  • Be curious about applying AI tools in the development workflow.
