Senior AI/ML Engineer, Onsite in the DC-Maryland-Virginia Area
Build full-stack prototypes, APIs, databases, and Google Gemini AI solutions. Support agile delivery for mission-critical federal government systems.
Aprašymas
- Build custom software for AI/ML pilots and use cases, including solutions using Google Gemini.
- Develop and support APIs, covering RESTful services, authentication, data formats, and error handling.
- Choose SQL and NoSQL databases to suit application needs.
- Combine SQL and NoSQL databases within one application when appropriate.
- Apply security best practices to SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Work with prototyping teams to support colleagues and deliver functional applications on tight schedules.
- Analyze complex project challenges and devise solutions using appropriate technology, methods, tools, and components.
- Take part in agile delivery work and ceremonies, including release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, demos, and retrospectives.
- Support agile development and ongoing operations and maintenance for critical federal government systems.
Reikalavimai
- Must reside in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must be eligible to obtain a CBP Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree and seven years of experience in a related field.
- Able to assess technically complex problems and develop and implement creative solutions in a fast-paced software prototyping environment.
- Expertise in several software development languages, including YAML, JSON, Python, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Full-stack development experience, with front-end proficiency in Angular and back-end development skills.
- Able to oversee all parts of a web application, including its user interface, server, and database.
- Able to collaborate with data science teams to connect applications with AI/ML, big data, or business intelligence solutions.
- Able to handle complex work independently with minimal direction or management oversight.
- Preferred: experience working with live data and video streams.
- Preferred: technical credentials such as AWS Certified Developer Associate.
- Preferred: experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
- Preferred: experience with AI/ML solutions or predictive analytics.
- Preferred: experience working on a geographically distributed remote team.
- Preferred: knowledge of data science principles and practices.
