Principal Engineer, Digital Banking Platform
Set the architecture and technical direction for Fiserv’s digital banking platforms. Modernize distributed systems and cloud infrastructure while strengthening reliability and engineering delivery.
Aprašymas
- Set the technical vision, long-term architecture, and engineering roadmap for online banking platforms.
- Lead solution design, architecture reviews, and technical decisions for complex initiatives spanning multiple teams.
- Assess legacy systems, platform architecture, application code, infrastructure, and production environments to find root causes, technical risks, and modernization opportunities.
- Design and modernize scalable, secure, resilient, maintainable platforms using distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native architectures, automation, and modern engineering practices.
- Strengthen availability, performance, operational excellence, and engineering productivity through observability, technical debt reduction, reliability, DevSecOps, CI/CD, platform engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering practices.
- Guide geographically distributed teams through mentorship, code reviews, proofs of concept, critical feature development, incident investigations, architecture forums, and engineering standards.
Reikalavimai
- Bring 12 or more years of software engineering experience, including architecture and delivery of large-scale enterprise platforms.
- Have 10 or more years of experience designing and developing distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and modern software delivery platforms.
- Offer 8 or more years leading technical strategy, architecture decisions, and software delivery across multiple engineering teams.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or have an equivalent combination of education, relevant experience, and/or military experience.
- Experience in at least two digital banking or financial technology domain areas is a plus.
- Experience in at least two cloud or platform transformation focus areas is a plus.
- Experience in at least two engineering excellence focus areas is a plus.
