Legal Counsel, SaaS and Commercial — London Hybrid
Advise Deepki’s UK and US sales teams on SaaS contracts, commercial matters, and regulatory compliance as the company grows its UK business. Hybrid position based in London, working with the Paris-based legal team.

- Act as the primary legal contact for UK and US sales teams within the Paris-based legal group.
- Review SaaS agreements and negotiate a large volume of commercial contracts.
- Advise clients and internal teams on commercial contracts, both strategically and on day-to-day matters.
- Help grow the UK business by resolving routine contracting issues with practical solutions.
- Handle standard commercial matters independently and raise complex or significant issues when needed.
- Track UK regulatory developments and contribute to the broader compliance strategy.
- Help deliver AI and digital initiatives for the UK market and identify relevant legal developments.
- Encourage adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assist senior lawyers with early dispute reviews and routine legal correspondence.
- Manage relationships with local external counsel and service providers.
- Partner with sales, product, delivery, and senior leaders to establish legal processes, simplify commercial contracts, and support regulatory compliance.
Reikalavimai
- Qualified solicitor.
- At least three years of experience after qualification.
- Strong knowledge of technology matters, including AI, data, internet, or SaaS, and commercial law.
- Experience at a reputable law firm or in the legal team of a fast-moving technology company.
- Demonstrated skill drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Experience contributing to regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Able to lead commercial work independently while working closely with the wider team.
- Proactive and delivery-focused, with clear communication and practical commercial judgment.
- Able to prioritize and manage a high volume of legal requests in a fast-changing, high-growth environment without established playbooks.
- Collaborative when working across functions, with business stakeholders, non-legal teams, and distributed colleagues.
- Skilled at using AI tools to improve legal team processes and efficiency.
- French proficiency is an advantage.
- Experience with the AI Act, Data Act, and DORA is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cross-border commercial matters is an advantage.
- Experience supporting international business expansion and growth is an advantage.
