Lead DevOps and SRE Engineer, Azure (Remote in Mexico)
Lead Azure infrastructure security, optimization, and reliability for Techmahindra clients in Mexico. Oversee production operations, cloud security, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.

- Reduce Azure technical debt, improve architecture, and align environments with Azure best practices.
- Act as the main escalation contact for complex Azure production incidents.
- Investigate root causes and put lasting mitigation measures in place.
- Secure, scale, and govern enterprise Azure environments, while providing secondary support for AWS workloads.
- Build and improve automated CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Use Infrastructure as Code to support reliable releases without downtime.
- Map cloud dependencies and manage operational risks.
- Explain technical decisions to client stakeholders and global cross-functional teams.
- Advise engineering teams on Azure architecture best practices.
- Coach colleagues on Azure best practices.
Reikalavimai
- Extensive practical knowledge of Azure services, architecture, networking, identity and access management, governance, and cost optimization.
- Ability to resolve real-world Azure production problems independently.
- Working foundational experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC.
- Hands-on experience investigating, diagnosing, and resolving live production outages under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Strong understanding of Azure security tools, policy enforcement, vulnerability remediation, and enterprise compliance guidelines.
- Ability to make decisions independently, prioritize technical remediation, and mentor colleagues.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Advanced English proficiency is required.
- Remote work is limited to Mexico.
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-305, or AZ-104 are desirable.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams is desirable.
- Agile or Scrum delivery experience is desirable.
