AbbVie is hiring an IAM Federation Services Engineer to design and support Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and PingFederate solutions for its global pharmaceutical workforce. The role covers federation, authentication, MFA, provisioning, and identity integrations.

Aprašymas

  • Design and deliver federation-based identity and access management solutions that meet business needs
  • Connect federation platforms with enterprise and cloud environments, including Active Directory, HR systems, and cloud applications, using SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0
  • Build and maintain tailored authentication experiences with Okta APIs, SDKs, and widget-driven sign-in flows
  • Configure and support MFA methods such as PingID, Okta Verify, Microsoft Authenticator, FIDO2, biometrics, and OTP or push authentication
  • Investigate and resolve federation-related authentication and authorization problems
  • Review system logs and identify causes of user provisioning issues
  • Monitor federation infrastructure and improve its performance, capacity, and scalability
  • Offer technical direction and support to administrators and end users
  • Work with internal teams, technology vendors, and external partners
  • Maintain documentation for federation configurations, operating processes, and procedures
  • Track developments in the field and propose service improvements
  • Help operate secure identity and authentication services for AbbVie’s global workforce of 80,000 users and customer identities

Reikalavimai

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience, or a master’s degree plus 4 years of experience
  • At least 4 years of experience working with Okta and PingFederate
  • Professional experience as a Federation Engineer or in a comparable position
  • Strong command of identity and access management concepts
  • Practical experience with Okta Identity Engine (OIE) for CIAM workflows, including registration, self-service, B2C and B2B identity patterns, and the Sign-In Widget
  • Knowledge of federation capabilities such as user lifecycle management, SSO, and MFA
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and PingFederate
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to partner effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Careful attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-moving environment
  • Preferred certifications include Okta Certified Administrator, PingFederate or PingOne Certified, and Microsoft Entra ID certifications
  • Preferred experience supporting environments with more than 10,000 users; experience with 80,000 or more users is especially valued
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks, including NIST and ISO 27001
  • Ability to travel 5% of the time
