Cloud Security Engineer - Hyderabad, India (On-site)
Secure Provido Global’s AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments through threat detection, incident response, automation, and compliance. The role supports cloud security operations across globally distributed teams.

- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments
- Administer IAM, network segmentation, encryption, key management, and centralized logging
- Create and refine cloud-native detections across SIEM, CSPM, and CWPP platforms
- Investigate misconfigurations, unusual activity, and potential compromise indicators
- Direct the investigation and containment of cloud security incidents
- Work with SOC analysts and incident responders to resolve security events
- Develop automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting
- Apply security baselines at scale while limiting configuration drift
- Assess vulnerabilities and review configurations across cloud workloads, container platforms, and Kubernetes clusters
- Integrate security guardrails into CI/CD workflows
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to develop secure-by-default reference architectures
- Maintain security standards, operational runbooks, and architecture documentation
- Contribute to ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and SOC 2 audit and compliance work
- Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders in a Follow-The-Sun operating model
- Track cloud threat developments relevant to the industries supported
Reikalavimai
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, systems engineering, or a related field
- Three to five years of experience in cloud security, information security engineering, or a closely related technical position
- Hands-on expertise with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Practical familiarity with at least one additional major cloud platform
- Strong knowledge of IAM, network security, encryption, container security, and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Experience using SIEM, CSPM, CWPP, or cloud-native detection tools
- Ability to script in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Previous gaming experience as a competitive player, hobbyist, or professional
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Availability for on-site work in Hyderabad, India
- Availability for on-call rotations when required
- Preferred: cloud or security certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, AZ-500, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CCSP, CISSP, or an equivalent credential
- Preferred: production experience securing Kubernetes, containerized workloads, or serverless platforms
- Preferred: familiarity with regulated industries and compliance frameworks
- Preferred: experience with threat modeling, red or purple team exercises, capture-the-flag competitions, or cloud penetration testing
- Preferred: exposure to Microsoft security technologies and other enterprise security platforms
- Preferred: strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to explain security risk in business terms
