  • Turn unclear platform challenges into multi-quarter roadmaps.
  • Align engineering partners and contribute hands-on from design and implementation through rollout and adoption.

  • At least five years of software development experience, including three or more years building Android applications.
  • A record of leading complex Android initiatives from defining the problem through delivery and sustained adoption.
  • Experience setting technical direction and delivering shared platform capabilities in a large Android codebase used by multiple teams and millions of daily active users.
  • Deep expertise in Kotlin, Android lifecycle and concurrency, Jetpack Compose, and Kotlin coroutines.
  • Experience with Android platform or infrastructure work, such as shared libraries or frameworks, experiments and logging, navigation, startup and session orchestration, or core networking and caching.
  • Strong systems thinking and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated measurable gains in app reliability, performance, or developer productivity.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority and build agreement across engineering, product, design, and data teams.
  • Ability to explain technical strategy and trade-offs clearly.
  • Practical use of AI in engineering workflows, such as code generation, refactoring, static analysis, or CI checks, with measurable benefits.
