- Build, test, and maintain scalable Java backend applications and microservices
- Contribute across user story analysis, technical design, development, testing, and production support within an Agile team
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs in line with established security and API design practices
- Produce clean, reusable, maintainable code supported by comprehensive testing
- Develop efficient data access patterns across relational and NoSQL databases
- Investigate application issues through log and metric analysis while supporting performance and reliability improvements
- Review code with fellow engineers and help raise engineering quality and standards
- Partner with product owners, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver robust solutions
- Evaluate and apply relevant technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices to business challenges
- Contribute actively to Agile planning, application design, development, testing, and automation
Талаптар
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Five to seven years of software development experience, preferably focused on Java backend applications
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development principles
- Awareness of emerging trends, technologies, and standards in the payments industry
- Awareness of emerging trends and standards in blockchain and distributed ledger technologies
- Knowledge of Web3 technologies and ecosystems
- Experience with or familiarity with Vert.x
- Familiarity with automated testing tools such as JUnit and Mockito
- Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, or equivalent technologies
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders
- Visa sponsorship may be available for certain positions depending on business unit requirements, position details, cost, and applicable laws
