- Support planning, design, and delivery for industrial, Defense OEM, and data center facilities
- Contribute across the full architectural process, from programming and schematic design through construction documentation and administration
- Produce drawings, details, specifications, presentations, renderings, and technical documents with Revit and related tools
- Work with architecture, engineering, planning, and client stakeholders on multidisciplinary project teams
- Coordinate consultants and incorporate building systems into project designs
- Join client meetings and support proposals, presentations, and design reviews
- Assist with quality assurance and quality control while maintaining compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
- Support project managers with budgets, schedules, and project delivery
- Develop practical design solutions for evolving technologies and future development within compressed schedules and client requirements
- Partner with local and national leaders on complex Defense OEM, Advanced Manufacturing, Federal, Aviation, and Transit projects
- Deliver high-quality work, support business development, and expand Michael Baker’s presence in targeted growth markets

- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred
- At least 8 years of professional architectural experience
- Experience with industrial, Defense OEM, and data center clients or projects is preferred
- Texas architecture licensure is required; candidates actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and related architectural design software
- Strong knowledge of building systems, construction documentation, and consultant coordination
- Familiarity with building codes, accessibility requirements, and industry standards
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Effectiveness in a team-oriented work environment
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Availability to work in person about two days per week at either the Dallas or Fort Worth office
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% according to project and program needs
