  • Scale AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure to support growing usage and engineering teams
  • Develop zero-downtime deployment strategies with automated rollback capabilities
  • Create and maintain Terraform modules that engineers use to manage infrastructure
  • Lead production capacity planning and infrastructure cost management
  • Embed observability across services with Honeycomb, Sentry, and CloudWatch
  • Manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines in GitHub Actions
  • Own networking and traffic-routing architecture, including load balancing and DNS
  • Support Scribe’s Specialized Intelligence platform, which captures how work is performed and transforms it into a living resource for people and AI agents

  • At least 7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
  • Advanced AWS expertise spanning EKS, VPC, S3, and RDS/Aurora
  • Working knowledge of the AWS Well-Architected Framework
  • Hands-on production Kubernetes experience, including cluster administration and multi-environment operations
  • Experience scaling Terraform usage through module development and state management
  • Production experience with CNCF tools such as Helm and Karpenter
  • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
  • Experience using Honeycomb, Sentry, and CloudWatch to investigate production incidents
  • Experience delivering zero-downtime releases with automated rollback processes
  • Strong networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and traffic routing
  • Experience operating asynchronous job processing and message queues at scale
  • Ability to script and automate with Python, Go, Bash, or comparable languages
  • Demonstrated experience with capacity planning, performance optimization, and cost control
  • Familiarity with authoring AGENTS.md files and DNA scaffolding
  • Currently based in the U.S. Pacific Time Zone
