Remote Business Analyst - Federal Software Projects
Business Analyst supporting federal government technology projects by converting business needs into software requirements and process solutions. The role covers stakeholder collaboration, documentation, testing, and implementation within Agile delivery environments.

- Capture, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Work with stakeholders at different levels to clarify business and software needs
- Lead requirements workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions
- Create business cases, user stories, use cases, process diagrams, wireframes, test materials, and related solution documentation
- Convert stakeholder needs into actionable requirements for development and testing teams
- Assist with software development, testing, validation, and implementation
- Create and maintain user guides, design documents, release notes, and standard operating procedures
- Edit and review technical and business materials
- Provide support for COTS platforms including SharePoint, Tableau, and Jira
- Assess customer requests, establish solution scope, and coordinate with technical teams
- Oversee multiple projects while maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, or a related discipline
- Two to five years of experience in business analysis or requirements gathering
- Demonstrated ability to gather and document business requirements in a professional services setting
- Strong Microsoft Visio skills for process modeling and documentation
- Experience with data mapping, data cleansing, and gap analysis
- Knowledge of user acceptance testing methods and execution
- U.S. citizenship
- Secret security clearance
- Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA
- Business analysis certification such as CBAP or CCBA, or related credentials
- Experience with Agile development practices
- Experience working in cloud-based software development environments
- Experience with SharePoint, Tableau, Jira, or other COTS applications
- Experience creating user stories, use cases, process or system diagrams, wireframes, and test documentation
- Experience supporting software testing and implementation
- Strong facilitation, negotiation, and influencing abilities
