Principal Business Intelligence Analyst, Legal Affairs — T-Mobile (Onsite, Bellevue)
T-Mobile is hiring a principal business intelligence analyst to turn enterprise data into legal analytics, executive dashboards, and AI-enabled decision-support tools. The role combines advanced analysis, data visualization, stakeholder partnership, and scalable pipeline development.

- Translate complex business questions into actionable insights by combining data from multiple enterprise systems
- Create executive dashboards, reporting products, AI-powered analytics, and conversational AI solutions
- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks, then turn findings into practical recommendations
- Work with cross-functional partners to define reporting, analytics, AI chat, and data requirements
- Provide key performance indicators for Legal teams
- Partner with business and technology groups to strengthen data quality, reporting, AI capabilities, and analytics workflows
- Advise stakeholders on business strategy, initiative prioritization, and outcome measurement through data
- Lead or support special projects and strategic business initiatives
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for reporting, analytics, and AI applications

- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of related experience
- Degree in Business, Statistics, or a comparable field
- Seven to ten years of experience using business intelligence tools
- Seven to ten years of experience in reporting, performance analysis, and data visualization with Tableau and Power BI
- Seven to ten years of experience with advanced analytics, including SQL and ETL for complex datasets, quantitative analysis, and research
- At least two years of recent experience manipulating data and creating data interactions with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude
- Experience supporting Legal teams is preferred
- Knowledge of Azure Data Services, Databricks, data governance, data modeling, data pipeline development, A/B testing, ad hoc analysis, business requirements analysis, competitive analysis, dashboard development, data analysis, data visualization, stakeholder management, and AI development
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
