Alternatively, a completed bachelor’s degree in any field combined with an Information Technology specialization
Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer version 5 or later, CSD – Certified Scrum Developer, and PSD – Professional Scrum Developer
Understanding of financial systems development
Knowledge of agile development principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban
Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps practices
Experience using Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Services
Knowledge and experience with configuration and change management using ClearCase, SVN, and Git
Ability to analyze and specify functional, non-functional, and agile requirements
Knowledge of design patterns and software development best practices
Understanding of enterprise systems integration
Experience with microservices architecture and development
Experience developing with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience migrating monolithic systems to microservices
Knowledge of relational data modeling
Understanding of layered architectures and MVC
Knowledge of responsive interfaces and progressive web applications
Knowledge of integrations involving messaging systems, JMS, web services, WebSphere Message Broker, REST, SOA, and EJB 3
Experience with Java Swing programming
Knowledge of continuous integration, TDD, ATDD, specification by example, refactoring, and continuous delivery
Knowledge of JavaScript, ECMAScript 5/6+, Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular 5+, Bootstrap 3+, HTML5, CSS3, ASP, and .NET
