  • Design and develop Go-based connectors, proxies, and sidecars
  • Integrate the data path with customer systems, applications, and AI environments
  • Create software for high-throughput, latency-sensitive data flows
  • Develop and maintain gRPC services and communication pathways
  • Implement Layer 7 proxies and traffic-management components
  • Independently investigate protocols, technologies, and integration approaches
  • Work with modern AI protocols and ecosystems, including MCP and LLM integrations
  • Optimize throughput, latency, concurrency, and resource consumption
  • Diagnose complex networking and protocol problems in Linux environments
  • Strengthen production-service reliability, error handling, testing, and observability
  • Contribute to additional Go platform components as required
  • Use AI-assisted development tools for research, coding, debugging, and testing
  • Take features from initial research and design through implementation and production readiness

  • Substantial production experience with Go
  • Strong background building networking, proxy, gateway, data-path, or infrastructure software
  • Hands-on experience with gRPC
  • Solid knowledge of HTTP, TCP/IP, APIs, proxies, and application-layer protocols
  • Experience creating reverse proxies, forward proxies, gateways, sidecars, connectors, or comparable traffic-handling systems
  • Background developing software where throughput, latency, concurrency, or network efficiency are important
  • Ability to develop, debug, and troubleshoot software in Linux environments
  • Ability to investigate unfamiliar protocols and technologies independently and convert findings into working implementations
  • Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with concurrent and asynchronous software
  • Ability to work rapidly while preserving production-quality standards
  • Willingness to incorporate modern AI development tools into the engineering process
  • Strong ownership and independent-working skills
  • Node.js experience is advantageous
  • QUIC experience is advantageous
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol) experience is advantageous
  • Experience building LLM proxies, API gateways, service proxies, or AI infrastructure is advantageous
  • Experience with WebSockets, HTTP/2, HTTP/3, or streaming protocols is advantageous
  • Experience with high-throughput or low-latency data-processing systems is advantageous
  • Distributed-systems experience is advantageous
  • Experience supporting customer-deployed or on-premises software is advantageous
  • Experience with observability and production troubleshooting is advantageous
