  • Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team
  • Set priorities and manage delivery to achieve strong, predictable outcomes
  • Build a collaborative, autonomous, inclusive, innovative, and transparent team environment
  • Support employee growth through knowledge sharing, code and design reviews, technical presentations, and timely feedback
  • uphold code quality, automated testing, and sound engineering practices
  • Apply organizational standards for security, quality, observability, and clean code
  • Support legacy and modern cloud services and applications, deploying them through CI/CD
  • Participate in architecture decisions, review code, and contribute implementation work when needed
  • Promote AI-first engineering practices, AI tooling, and agentic development workflows
  • Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, other Engineering Managers, and cross-functional partners
  • Find and advance opportunities to improve engineering productivity
  • Partner with the People Team to recruit highly capable candidates from diverse backgrounds
  • Work flexibly while maintaining daily overlap with the Chicago timezone, including afternoon meetings

Талаптар

  • At least three years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience
  • Strong software engineering background developing and deploying scalable cloud applications with CI/CD
  • Professional production experience with PHP
  • Strong database expertise spanning SQL, NoSQL, and event-streaming technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, establish delivery cadence, and drive disciplined team execution
  • Experience resolving complex technical challenges at scale
  • Strong communication abilities and a customer-focused approach
  • Fluent English proficiency, with B2 as the minimum level
  • Availability for flexible working hours and regular afternoon overlap with the US Central timezone
  • Experience guiding AI/ML adoption or incorporating agentic workflows into engineering practices is desirable
  • Experience supporting organizational growth and scaling is desirable
  • Demonstrated success collaborating across time zones in distributed engineering organizations is desirable
  • Experience with Python or Java is desirable
