Embedded Software Systems Specification Engineer
Bridge systems engineering and software development as an embedded systems specification engineer. Support strategic ground-defense systems within complex industrial engineering projects.

- Translate system requirements into software service requirements and detailed specifications
- Prepare software specifications and related design documentation
- Define and maintain interfaces, including ICDs, communication protocols, and exchange formats
- Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from system definition through testing with DOORS, Polarion, or comparable tools
- Support functional and software architecture work in collaboration with architects
- Work with validation teams to assess requirement testability, review test plans, and identify gaps
- Take part in specification reviews and resolve review feedback
- Control requirements changes and assess their effects
- Coordinate between systems engineering and software development teams working on land-based defense embedded systems
Талаптар
- Master’s degree from an engineering school or university in embedded systems, computer science, electronics, or systems engineering
- At least five years of experience in requirements engineering, systems specification, or software specification for complex embedded systems
- Strong command of requirements engineering practices and the V-model
- Advanced ability to produce clear technical specifications
- Advanced experience managing interfaces and interface control documents (ICDs)
- Proficiency with DOORS, Polarion, or equivalent tools for requirements traceability
- Working knowledge of verification and validation processes
- French nationality, because the role requires defense security clearance
- Experience with UML, SysML, or MBSE is advantageous
- Experience using Capella or Enterprise Architect is advantageous
- Knowledge of communication technologies such as Ethernet and field buses is advantageous
- Background in defense or aerospace is advantageous
- Some experience in software development or validation is advantageous
- High attention to detail, strong analytical and synthesis skills, excellent technical writing, cross-team coordination ability, and curiosity about technology
