  • Create a high-performance Python SDK that enables developers to move from a single command to actionable insights
  • Give internal users a unified entry point to BigQuery datasets through intuitive Python interfaces
  • Build and support SDKs written in Python and C++
  • Establish a public schema registry based on Protobuf, JSON, or Avro
  • Work with stakeholders to articulate the business value of CME Group’s Data & Analytics products
  • Select, deploy, and oversee an API documentation platform
  • Produce technical reference materials explaining API behavior and usage
  • Develop practical tutorials, sample code, and dashboard templates
  • Expand cloud data products and introduce a shared messaging layer to address customer demand
  • Advance delivery capabilities for historical data and data-sharing services
  • Maintain schema consistency across services and latency tiers
  • Standardize CME Group’s credential and authentication mechanisms
  • Enable external delivery through Bobsled, SFTP, Curl, and email
  • Implement telemetry to measure user engagement and product value
  • Oversee GitHub workflows and CI/CD processes supporting PyPI releases
  • Review current APIs to uncover fragmentation, authentication deficiencies, and opportunities to consolidate
  • Establish and document hybrid approaches to API versioning
  • Deliver an SDK minimum viable product within one year, develop a normalized multi-cloud distribution framework over 2–3 years, and drive organization-wide API normalization over 3–5 years
