  • Advance digital transformation across the DePuy Synthes manufacturing network using Mendix low-code tools, AI, and other digital manufacturing technologies.
  • Turn manufacturing needs into scalable solutions that improve operations, compliance, quality, productivity, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Data & Analytics, Architecture, Cybersecurity, and external partners.
  • Identify transformation opportunities and build business cases and value measurement frameworks.
  • Help shape Digital Manufacturing and Smart Factory roadmaps.
  • Act as Business Technology Lead and Product Analyst for Mendix manufacturing applications.
  • Gather, document, refine, and prioritize requirements through Agile methods.
  • Convert business processes into user stories, process flows, minimum viable products, and technical requirements.
  • Manage feature backlogs and work with development teams to deliver value.
  • Align solutions with enterprise architecture, security, data governance, and compliance needs.
  • Guide application lifecycle work, including enhancements, support, and retirement planning.
  • Identify and prioritize AI opportunities in manufacturing operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.
  • Work with Data Science and Engineering teams to design and deploy AI-enabled solutions.
  • Lead workshops and stakeholder discussions.
  • Record current and future business processes.
  • Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support user acceptance testing and deployment readiness.
  • Measure and monitor outcomes using operational KPIs.
  • Advise on digital manufacturing technologies and provide subject matter leadership.
  • Support audit readiness and validation work.
  • Take part in architecture reviews and technology governance.
  • Maintain documentation to Johnson & Johnson standards.
  • Produce requirements, roadmaps, backlogs, AI use-case frameworks, feature specifications, process maps, value metrics, UAT records, recommendations, dashboards, KPI reports, stakeholder communications, and executive updates.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • At least six years of experience in IT, manufacturing systems, digital manufacturing, supply chain systems, or a related area.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations in regulated environments.
  • Experience delivering technology solutions using Agile methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience with the Mendix low-code platform.
  • Experience supporting MES, ERP, or manufacturing systems.

  • Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Understanding of digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, and Connected Worker strategies.
  • Knowledge of Siemens Opcenter MES, Azure, or Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience with data products, analytics, or AI model deployment.
  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes.
