Commercial Excellence Intern, Partner Excellence | GlobalFoundries, Austin
Join GlobalFoundries in Austin as a Commercial Excellence Intern supporting its semiconductor partner program. Use data analysis, process improvement, training development, and AI-assisted tools to improve partner operations and business insights.

- Analyze business data, improve processes, develop training materials, and assist with partner performance reviews
- Organize and evaluate partner and sales-opportunity data using Excel, dashboards, and AI-assisted tools
- Interview stakeholders and observe workflows to develop process maps, job aids, and initial drafts
- Support partner web-portal enhancements by documenting requirements, testing updates, and tracking open items with Sales Operations and GF IT
- Research prospective partners and summarize findings for team discussions and decision-making
- Develop insights, presentations, and summaries for sales-funnel reviews, partner business reviews, and leadership updates
- Develop and maintain partner training and communications materials with AI-assisted tools
- Lead a defined project from initiation through completion and present its results and recommendations at the end of the internship
- Work safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

- Be at least a sophomore when applying and pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Marketing, Economics, or a related field through an accredited program during the internship
- Maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and good academic standing
- Demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English
- Be available to work at least 40 hours per week throughout the internship
- Previous related internship or co-op experience is preferred
- Previous leadership experience is preferred
- Strong interest in AI tools and emerging technologies is preferred
- Project management skills are preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred
- Strong planning and organizational abilities are preferred
- Be detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain accurate records and follow documented processes
- Show intellectual curiosity and willingness to ask questions of senior stakeholders
- Manage multiple assignments and identify priority conflicts early
- Use critical thinking to develop a perspective from data or process information
- Have working proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI, Power Platform, or SQL is an advantage
- Show enthusiasm for using AI-assisted tools in data analysis, visualization, process improvement, automation, and business communication
