  • Prepare dispositive motions, summary judgment motions, demurrers, discovery motions, motions to strike, and other substantive court filings.
  • Research complex legal issues and develop persuasive arguments.
  • Partner with trial attorneys to shape defense strategies and improve litigation outcomes.
  • Review pleadings, discovery, and case evidence to spot opportunities for strategic motions.
  • Prepare and argue substantive motions at hearings when appropriate.
  • Assess case developments and recommend litigation strategies.
  • Lead complex legal writing projects that influence case outcomes.

Талаптар

  • Hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Maintain an active California Bar license in good standing.
  • Currently reside in California.
  • Have at least four years of civil litigation experience.
  • Demonstrate experience drafting substantive motions, such as summary judgment motions, demurrers, or discovery motions.
  • Bring strong legal research, persuasive writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Be able to independently manage complex legal research and motion drafting.
  • Insurance defense or other civil litigation defense experience is preferred.
  • Courtroom motion argument experience is a plus.
