Accounting Manager in Madrid (Hybrid)
Lead accounting operations, financial close, and group reporting for an international organization. Coordinate teams and subsidiaries while improving processes from Madrid in a hybrid role.

- Oversee and coordinate the company’s accounting operations
- Lead and supervise day-to-day accounting activities
- Coordinate accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
- Prepare and validate financial statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory standards
- Assess financial performance, identifying variances, trends, and improvement opportunities
- Develop, document, and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Contribute to the optimization and automation of finance processes
- Work closely with other departments and international teams
- Collaborate with the parent company, subsidiaries, auditors, and internal and external stakeholders
- Provide financial insight to support strategic decision-making

- University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Seven to ten years of professional experience in accounting and finance roles
- At least four years of experience leading teams or coordinating accounting responsibilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting close processes, financial statement preparation, and accounting operations control
- Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Effective leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
- Experience working in international corporate groups with parent-company and subsidiary structures
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English is essential
- Experience with HFM, knowledge of Kyriba, and proficiency with SAP or other financial ERP systems are advantageous
- Experience in corporate reporting and financial consolidation is advantageous
- Experience contributing to accounting process improvement, digitization, or automation projects is advantageous
