  • Serve as the primary contact for clients’ accounting questions
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial statements
  • Review financial statements for errors and inconsistencies
  • Prepare and file compliant tax packages
  • Support annual account closings and apply required adjustments
  • Coordinate with internal departments to maintain accurate accounting data
  • Advise clients on tax matters
  • Oversee a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
  • Work with ACD and Pennylane accounting software

  • Two-year post-secondary qualification in accounting or an equivalent credential
  • Experience as an accounting associate in an accounting firm, including work-study or early-career experience
  • Practical expertise in preparing financial statements
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and reports
  • Thorough understanding of tax packages and filing procedures
  • Strong client communication skills and a professional approach to relationship management
