Description
- Serve as the primary contact for clients’ accounting questions
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial statements
- Review financial statements for errors and inconsistencies
- Prepare and file compliant tax packages
- Support annual account closings and apply required adjustments
- Coordinate with internal departments to maintain accurate accounting data
- Advise clients on tax matters
- Oversee a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
- Work with ACD and Pennylane accounting software
Requirements
- Two-year post-secondary qualification in accounting or an equivalent credential
- Experience as an accounting associate in an accounting firm, including work-study or early-career experience
- Practical expertise in preparing financial statements
- Ability to interpret financial statements and reports
- Thorough understanding of tax packages and filing procedures
- Strong client communication skills and a professional approach to relationship management
- Self-directed, precise, and detail-focused working style
