Description

  • Improve the performance, search visibility, and quality of Keeper’s global web properties.
  • Audit crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal links, redirects, canonicalization, JavaScript rendering, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Track website health with Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, PageSpeed Insights, and analytics platforms.
  • Identify technical issues affecting organic search and coordinate fixes with Development, Design, and Marketing.
  • Support SEO implementation in WordPress, including metadata, structured data, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, templates, and page-level improvements.
  • Assess how Keeper content appears in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI search experiences.
  • Apply GEO practices to improve content structure, entity clarity, topical authority, internal links, and accurate brand and product representation in AI-generated answers.
  • Implement SEO and GEO recommendations or provide technical requirements and tickets to Development.
  • Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and GitHub Copilot for development, analysis, debugging, audits, and workflow efficiency.
  • Automate audits, reporting, internal-link analysis, and recurring SEO workflows with scripts, APIs, or other tools.
  • Support international SEO through hreflang implementation, localization coverage, and identification of missing or inaccurate translations.
  • Keep up with search algorithms, AI search behavior, structured data, and technical SEO practices.
  • Implement and validate canonical tags, redirects, metadata, structured data, and other search-related website elements.
  • Monitor crawlability and indexability, including robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonicalization, and search engine directives.
  • Fix broken links, duplicate content, redirect chains, orphaned pages, and site architecture issues.
  • Improve internal linking and information architecture.
  • Validate SEO requirements for launches, migrations, redesigns, and new page development.
  • Monitor live websites for technical regressions that affect search performance.
  • Troubleshoot HTML, CSS, JavaScript, rendering, APIs, and content management systems.
  • Use analytics and SEO platforms to find opportunities, measure results, and prioritize improvements.
  • Document technical SEO standards, development requirements, and recurring audit processes.
  • Collaborate with Search Optimization, Product Marketing, Engineering, Development, Design, and Marketing teams.

Requirements

  • At least three years of professional web development experience with hands-on technical SEO responsibilities.
  • Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting production websites.
  • Practical experience implementing canonical tags, redirects, structured data, metadata, XML sitemaps, and robots.txt.
  • Strong understanding of how search engines crawl, render, and index websites.
  • Experience finding and resolving duplicate content, canonicalization, redirects, and site architecture issues.
  • Experience with international SEO concepts, including hreflang, localization, and multilingual site architecture.
  • Understanding of website performance, Core Web Vitals, and frontend optimization.
  • Familiarity with modern web frameworks, content management systems, and Git-based development workflows.
  • Experience with technical SEO and web analysis tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with web analytics platforms and using data to assess website and search performance.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, including investigating issues across web development and SEO.
  • Ability to work effectively with Product Marketing, Search Optimization, and Engineering teams.
  • Careful attention to detail and ability to spot technical issues across large websites.
  • Ability and willingness to use AI-assisted development and analysis tools to improve coding, auditing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems, Marketing Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
